τότε λοβὸς ἀμφίς: κωρίς. οὐ γὰρ ὥσπερ ὃ ἐρεβίνθῳ συμβέβηκεν τοῦτο καὶ ἐπὶ ἀσφοδέλῳ, ἀλλὰ χωρὶς ἕκαστον σπέρμα καθάπερ ἔγκειται. τινὲς δὲ τὸ ἀμφίς ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀμφί εἶναι γὰρ τὸν λόγον οὕτως, τὸ δὲ σπέρμα ὅπερ ὁ λοβὸς αὐτοῦ αὔξει. λοβὸς δὲ λέγεται πᾶσα λεπίς, ἧς ἔνδον ἐστὶ τὸ σπέρμα. ἢ ἀγγεῖόν ἐστιν ἐν ᾧ οἱ γεωργοὶ τὰ σπέρματα βάλλουσιν.
