Κοροπαῖος: τινὲς Θεσσαλικός. Κορόπη γὰρ πόλις Θεσσαλίας. γράφεται καὶ Ὀρόπειος. Ὀρόπεια γὰρ πόλις Βοιωτίας, ὅπου διασημότατον ἱερὸν Ἀπόλλωνος. τὸ δὲ μὶξ κονυζῆεν ἀντὶ τοῦ μεμιγμένως τὸ φυτὸν τῆς κονύζης, ἤτοι τὴν κόνυζαν τὴν ἔγχλοον. ἠδὲ καὶ ἀκτῆς: Θεόφραστος ἐν τῷ περὶ φυτῶν (III 13, 2 4) τὴν ἀκτὴν θαμνῶδες φυτόν φησιν εἶναι, ἔχειν δὲ ῥάβδους πήχεων ἕξ.
