σκαφίδεσσι δὲ δοχαίαις ἀντὶ τοῦ ἀγγείοις δεκτικοῖς· Ὅμηρος (Od. Ι 223) γαυλοί τε σκαφίδες τε. φαρμάσσων μέθυ κεῖνο: τὸν οἶνον. τὴν δεκάτην μοῖραν τοῦ χοὸς ἔμβαλε εἰς τὰ εἰρημένα. Ἄλλως. χοὸς δεκάτῃ ἀντὶ τοῦ δέκατον μέρος τοῦ χοός, ἤγουν τὴν κοτύλην καὶ πλέον. Γέρυνες, ἤγουν τὰ γεννήματα τῶν βατράχων, ἤτοι οἱ μικροὶ καὶ ἀδιάπλαστοι βάτραχοι. φησὶ δὲ βατράχους ζῶντας ἕψησον μετὰ οἴνου ἢ ὄξους ἢ ὕδατος καὶ πίε.
