Ἔνθεν ἀποτμήγων: καὶ γὰρ ἐκ τῆς προειρημένης συνθέτου κατασκευῆς δραχμὴν λαβὼν μετὰ οἴνου πιεῖν δίδου τῷ βλαβέντι. ἀλεξητήρια δήεις: καὶ γὰρ μέχρι τοῦ ὧδε περὶ ὄφεων, ἐντεῦθεν περὶ φαλαγγίων καὶ τῶν ὁμοίων διαλαμβάνει, καὶ πρῶτον περὶ μέλανος ἢ ῥωγός. δέκα δέ φασιν εἶναι γένη φαλαγγίων, εἰ καὶ Νίκανδρος μόνων τῶν ἑπτὰ μέμνηται.
