ἔσκληκεν ὀδοῦσι: ἤτοι ἐξήρανεν ἀντὶ τοῦ στόμα καὶ τοὺς ὀδόντας ἐν τῇ γαστρὶ ἔχει. ἐγχρίμψαντος δέ, ὅ ἐστι τοῦ φαλαγγίου πλήξαντος, ἀνούτατον καὶ ἄτρωτον τὸ σῶμα μένει τοῦ πληγέντος, οἱονεὶ κατὰ τὸ ἀφανὲς πλήττει τὴν πληγὴν καὶ δῆγμα μὴ ἐργαζόμενον. οἱ δὲ ὀφθαλμοὶ τοῦ πληγέντος φοινικοὶ καὶ μέλανες γίνονται.
