τοῦ δὲ φλόμου φησὶν Θεόφραστος δύο εἴδη εἶναι, ἄρρεν καὶ θῆλυ· ὅπερ Κρατεύας φησὶν ἔχειν διαφοράς, ἔχειν δὲ τὰ φύλλα τὸ μὲν ὅμοια μαράθῳ, μακρότερα δὲ καὶ λεπτότερα, τὸ δὲ ὅμοια κοριάννῳ. τὸ δὲ χελιδόνιον βοτάνη ἐστὶ καὶ φύεται καθ’ ὃν καιρὸν αἱ χελιδόνες φαίνονται.
