Ἀκοσταῖς, πεφρυγμέναις κριθαῖς, βούλεται δὲ τὴν ἐκ κριθῆς πτισάνην λέγειν· ἀκοσταῖς οὐν ταῖς κριθαῖς παρὰ τὸ ἄκος ποιεῖν τοῖς νοσοῦσι πινομέναις, ὅθεν καὶ τὸ ἀκοστήσας, οἷον κριθιάσας, ἡ ἴαμα τῆς στάσεως εὑρών.
