Θηλάζειν φησὶ τὸν πάσχοντα ποτὲ μὲν γυναῖκα, ποτὲ δὲ βοῦν. Ἅτε δὴ βρέφος· ὡς οἷα βρέφος ἀρτιγενὲς, οὕτως ἐμπελάσοι τῷ δεσμῷ ᾔγουν τῷ μαστῷ. Μοσχηδὸν δὲ δίμην μόσχου, δι’ οὗ σημαίνει τὸ ἁπαλὸν καὶ τρυφερόν· μόσχευμα γὰρ πᾶν τὸ ἁπαλόν. Ὅμηρος (Il. λ, 105). μόσχοισι λύγοισιν.
