Τῶν μὲν φοινήεσσαν. Γράφεται τῶν μὲν Φωκήεσσαν ἀντὶ τοῦ Φωκικήν· ἡ γὰρ τοῦ ἐλλεβόρου πόσις ἐν Φωκίδι δοκεῖ εὑρεθῆναι· κελεύει δ’ ἐλλέβορον ἢ σκαμμωνίαν διδόναι πίνειν τῷ κάμνοντι, ἵνα τῆς κοιλίας κατενεχθείσης καὶ τὸ τοῦ φαρμάκου κακὸν συναπορραγῇ. Εἴρηκε δὲ καὶ φοινήεσσαν τὴν τοῦ μέλανος ἐλλεβόρου πόσιν.
