Ἢ αὐτὴν ἅλα βάπτε· ἢ αὐτήν φησι τὴν θάλασσαν, τουτέστι τὸ θαλάσσιον ὕδωρ, διδόναι πιεῖν, ποτὲ μὲν ἡλίῳ θερμαίνοντα, ποτὲ δὲ πυρί· βᾶπτε γὰρ ἀντὶ τοῦ ἄντλει, γέμιζε.
