Ἄγχον· οἱ μέν φασι πόαν τινὰ εἶναι πλησίον τοῦ φωλεοῦ τῆς ἐχίδνης φυομένην, καὶ τὸν ἆσθμα αὐτῆς ἀνιμωμένην αὐτὴν, ἄλλοι δ’ ἐκ τοὺ ἱδρῶτος τοῦ ὄφεως. Τὸ δὲ πολλάκι μὲν στέρνοισιν ἀνοιδέον, καθὸ βρωθέντες οἱ μύκητες ἀνοιδοῦσιν ἐν γαστρί. Καὶ τὸ εὖτ’ ἐπὶ φωλεύοντα ἀντὶ τοῦ· ὅτε τραφῇ περὶ τὸν φωλεύοντα βαθὺν ὁλκὸν τῆς ἐχίδνης, ἤτοι περιφραστικῶς περὶ τὸν βαθὺν φωλεὸν τῆς ἐχίδνης.
