Δερκευνέος δὲ τοῦ ὁρῶντος ἐν τῷ κοιμᾶσθαι· τοῦ δερκευνέος φησὶ σκίνακος, ὅ ἐστι τοῦ σκιρτητικοῦ λαγωοῦ, τοῦ ἐν τῷ κοιμᾶσθαι βλέποντος, καθάπερ ὁ λέων καὶ ὁ ὄφις.
