Ἀμφὶ δ’ ὁλκός· περιφραστικῶς τὸ μῆκος καὶ ἡ παράτασις τῆς γλώσσης ἡ μὲν γλῶσσά φησι τραχύνεται, ὁ δὲ νέατος ἰσθμὸς, τουτέστιν ὁ ἔσχατος, ἤγουν τὰ παρίσθμια, ἅ λέγεται ἐγγὺς εἶναι τοῦ φάρυγγος, ὑποξηραίνεται ἢ τραχύνεται.
