c. δόξαν ἔχω ἕως ἔτικτεν: ὁ νοῦς· ἔχω τινὰ καὶ ἑτέραν δόκησιν οὕτω με προτρεπομένην λέγειν περὶ σοῦ, ὡσανεὶ τῆς ἀκόνης τῆς ὀξύνειν δυναμένης τὸ παραθηγόμενον· ἥτις δόκησις θελοντί μοι καὶ βουλομένῳ προσέρπει καὶ προσπίπτει ὑπὸ ταῖς τῶν αὐλῶν πνοαῖς καὶ τῶν ἤχων· διὰ πνοῆς γὰρ ὁ ἦχος ἐκφέρεται· ἥτις δόκησίς ἐστι τοῦ ὑμνεῖν σε ἐκ τῆς ἐμῆς προγόνου Μετώπης ἀπὸ Στυμφήλου πόλεως Ἀρκαδικῆς.
