d. Ἀσκληπιάδης δέ φησι γενεαλογεῖσθαι τὴν Ῥόδον Ἀφροδίτης καὶ Ἡλίου· τὸν γὰρ Ἥλιον αὐτῆς ἐρασθῆναι καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ νήσῳ μιγῆναι. e. ἄλλως· ποντίαν παῖδ᾿ Ἀφροδίτας: τὴν Ῥόδον. διὰ τὸ εἶναι δὲ νῆσον ποντίαν εἶπεν.
