a. βατείᾳ τ᾿ ἐν ἀπειράτῳ: ἣν οὐκ ἔστι διὰ τὰ κέντρα διαπερᾶσαι. b. ἢ τὴν πολλὴν καὶ δύσβατον μετασχηματίσας βάτειαν εἶπεν. c. οἷον ἐν δρυμῷ μεγάλῳ. d. βατείᾳ τ᾿ ἐν ἀπειράντῳ: ὅτι βάτειαν εἶπε τὴν βάτον, ὅ ἐστιν ἀκάνθης εἶδος. καὶ ὅτι τὸν Ἴαμον ἐτυμολογεῖ. e. ἀπειράντῳ δὲ, ἐν δρυμῷ μεγάλῳ. | f. ἀπειράτῳ ἀπὸ πολλῶν.
