Οὐ γὰρ φοβηθησόμεθα ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ισραηλ, ἰδοὺ γὰρ λαὸς ἐν ᾧ οὐκ ἔστιν δύναμις οὐδὲ κράτος εἰς παράταξιν ἰσχυράν· διὸ δὴ ἀναβησόμεθα, καὶ ἔσονται εἰς κατάβρωσιν πάσης τῆς στρατιᾶς σου, δέσποτα Ολοφέρνη. —
