Phm 1,1 Ἐν πολλαῖς ἐπιστολαῖς ξένον τίθησι ῥῆμα τοῦ μέλλοντος εἰσάγεσθαι λόγου κατασκευαστικόν, καὶ νῦν ἐπειδὴ ἔμελλεν ἀξιοῦν ὑπὲρ Ὀνησίμου τῇ ἑαυτοῦ ἀξίᾳ—ἀξία δὲ αὐτοῦ τὸ δεδέσθαι—, τὸ ἀξιόπιστον τῆς παρακλήσεως δείκνυσιν.
