Εἶτά φησι· Ταῦτα πάντα σοι δώσω, ἐὰν πεσὼν προσκυνήσῃς με. Οὕτω, ὅτι πρὸς ἀνθρωπότητα ἐλάλει, προβάλλει καὶ τὴν τρίτην πεῖραν καὶ λέγει· Ταῦτα πάντα σοι δώσω, ἐὰν πεσὼν προσκυνήσῃς με. Εἰ καὶ πικρὰ τὰ τοῦ διαβόλου ῥήματα, ἀλλ’ ἀσφαλῆ, οὐκ αὐτῷ τῷ λέγοντι, ἀλλ’ ἡμῖν τοῖς ἀκούουσιν· Ἐὰν πεσὼν προσκυνήσῃς με.
