οὕτω καὶ τὰ δίχρονα, κοι- νὴν φύσιν μέκους τε καὶ βραχύτητος ἀξιούμεναι ἔχειν. εἴπερ γὰρ τοιαῦτα ἐστιν, ἤτοι αὐτὸ τὸ γράμμα κατʼ ἰδίαν καὶ ὁ ψιλός, εἰ τύχοι, τοῦ α ι υ χαρακτὴρ ἐμφανιστικός ἐστι τῆς διχρόνου φύσεως, 〈ἢ τὸ〉 [καὶ] νυνὶ μὲν συστέλλεσθαι νυνὶ δέ ἐκτείνεσθαι δυνάμενον 〈κοινὸν σὺν〉 τῇ προσῳδία.
