οὔτε δέ διὰ εἰδικῆς διὰ τὸ μήπω βέβαιον εἶναι τὴν τῆς γενικῆς ὕπαρξιν, οὔτε διὰ γενικῆς· αὕτη γάρ ἐστιν ἡ ἀμφισβητουμένη. οὐ τοίνυν ἔστι τις γενικὴ ἀπό- δειξις. ᾧ ἕπεται τὸ μηδὲ τὴν εἰδικὴν ὑπάρχειν. καὶ ἄλλως, ἡ γενικὴ ἀπό | δειξις εἰ μὲν λήμματά τινα ἔχει καὶ ἐπι- ψροράν, οὐδέ γενική ἐστιν, εἰ δὲ οὐκ ἔγει, οὐδὲ κατα- σκευάσει τι, πολὺ δὲ μᾶλλον οὐδὲ τὴν ἑαυτῆς ὕπαρξιν.
