τὸ μὲν οὖν μεταξὺ τῆς πέμπτης στιγμῆς καὶ τῆς ἑτέρας τετράδος φέρεσθαι τὸ τέμνον τῶν ἀλόγων· γενήσεται γὰρ ἄνισα τὰ τμήματα, καὶ τὸ μὲν ἐκ τεσσάρων στιγμῶν συγκείμενον τὸ δὲ ἐκ πέντε. τὸ δὲ αὐτἦν διχάζειν τὴν στιγμὴν πολλῷ τοῦ προτέρου ἀλογώτερον οὐκέτι γὰρ ἀδιάστατον ἀπολεί- ψουσι τὸ σημεῖον, ὅ γε διχάζεται πρὸς τοῦ τέμνοντος.
