τοῦτον δὴ τὸν κοινὸν λόγον καὶ θεῖον, καὶ οὗ κατὰ μετοχὴν γινόμεθα λογικοί, κριτήριον ἀληθείας φησὶν ὁ Ἡράκλειτος. ὅθεν τὸ μὲν κοινῇ πᾶσι φαινόμενον, τοῦτ’ εἶναι πιστόν τῷ κοινῷ γὰρ καὶ θείῳ λόγῳ λαμβάνεται), τὸ δέ τινι μόνῳ προσπῖπτον ἄπιστον ὑπάρχειν διὰ τὴν ἐναντίαν αἰτίαν.
