ὥστε εἰ τῶν συγκατατιθεμένων ἐστὶν ὁ σοφός, τῶν δοξαστικῶν ἔσται ὁ σοφός. οὐχὶ δέ γε τῶν δοξαστικῶν ἐστιν ὁ σοφός τοῦτο γὰρ ἀφροσύνης ἦν κατ’ αὐτούς, καὶ τῶν ἁμαρτημάτων αἴτιον)· οὐκ ἄρα τῶν συγκατατιθεμένων ἐστὶν ὁ σοφός. εἰ δὲ τοῦτο, περὶ πάντων αὐτὸν δεήσει ἀσυγκαταθετεῖν. τὸ δὲ ἀσυγκαταθετεῖν οὐδὲν ἕτερόν ἐστιν ἢ τὸ ἐπέχειν· ἐφέξει ἄρα περὶ πάντων ὁ σοφός.
