εἰ δὲ ἐκ φαινομένου εἰς εἰς τὸν δι’ ἀλλήλων ἐκπεσούμεθα τρόπον, τὸ μὲν φαινόμενον ἐξ ἀδήλου πιστούμενοι, τὸ δὲ ἄδηλον ἀναστρόφως πάλιν ἐκ τοῦ φαινομένου βεβαιοῦντες. ἀλλ’ εἰ μήτε πᾶν φαινόμενόν ἐστιν ἀληθὲς μήτε τὶ φαινόμενον, οὐδὲν φαινόμενόν ἐστιν ἀληθές. καὶ μὴν οὐδὲ ἄδηλον.
