ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν ῥηματικῶν πολλὰ ὁμοίως κατὰ τὸτ ἐνε- στῶτα χρόνον λεγόμενα οὐκ ἀναλόγως ἐν τοῖς ἄλλοις χρόνοις σχηματίζεται, 〈οἷον εὑρίσκει ψρέσκει — ηὕρηκεν ἀρήρεκεν〉, ἐνίων δί συζυγίαι τινές ἐκλελοίπασιν καὶ ἔκ- τονε μίν λέγεται, ἔκταγκε δέ οὐ λέγεται; ἀλλιπται μέν εἴποι τις |ἄν, ἤλειπται δὲ οὐκέτι. ἐπὶ δὲ τῶν μετοχῶν βοῶν σαρῶν νοῶν — βοῶντος σαροῦντος νοοῦντος, καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν προσηγοριῶν ἄναξ ἄβαξ — ἄνακτος ἄβακος, γραῦς ναῦς — γραός νηός.
