οἷον εἰ ὁ λύχνος εἴρηται ἀπὸ τοῦ λύειν τὸ νύχος, ὀφείλομιεν μαθεῖν εἰ καὶ τὸ νύχος ἀπό τινος ἑλληνικοῦ εἶρηται, καὶ τοῦτο πάλιν ἀπʼ ἄλλου καὶ οὕτως εἰς ἄπειρον γινομένης τῆς ἀνόδου καὶ ἀνευρέτου καθεστῶτος τοῦ πρῶτον ἀναφωνηθέντος ὀνόματος, συνακαταληπτεῖται καὶ τὸ εἰ ἑλληνικῶς ὁ λύχ- νος εἶρηται.
