σημεῖον εἶναι ἀξίωμα ἐν ὑγιεῖ συνημμένῳ καθηγούμενον, ἐκκαλυπτικὸν τὸ ὒ λήγοντος. κρίσεις δὲ τοῦ ὑγιοῦς συνημμένου πολλὰς μὲν καὶ ἄλλας εἶναί φασιν, μίαν δ’ ἐξ ἀπασῶν ὑπάρχειν, καὶ ταύτην οὐχ ὁμόλογον, τὴν ἀποδοθησομένην. πᾶν γὰρ συνημμένον ἢ ἀπὸ ἀληθοῦς ἀρχόμενον εἰς ἀληθὲς λήγει, ἢ ἀπὸ ψεύδους ἀρχόμενον ἐπὶ ψεῦδος λήγει, ἢ ἀπ’ ἀληθοῦς ἐπὶ ψεῦδος, ἢ ἀπὸ ψεύδους ἐπ’ ἀληθές.
