αὐτίκα γὰρ τὸ τοιοῦτο συνημμένον “ εἰ ἡμέρα ἔστι, φῶς ἔστιν” ἀπ’ ἀληθοῦς μὲν ἄρχεται τοῦ ‘‘ἡμέρα ἔστιν” καὶ ἐπ’ ἀληθὲς λήγει τὸ “φῶς ἔστιν”, οὐκ εἶχε δέ τι ἐν αὐτῷ ἡγούμενον ἀξίωμα σημεῖον τοῦ λήγοντος· οὐδὲ γὰρ ἐκκαλυπτικόν ἐστι τοῦ “φῶς ἔστιν τὸ ἡμέρα ἔστιν, ἀλλ’ ὧς αὐτὸ δι’ αὑτοῦ προσέπιπτεν, οὕτω καὶ τὸ “φῶς <ἔστιν>” ἐκ τῆς ἰδίας ἐλαμβάνετο περιφανείας.
