καὶ τὸ μέν τοὺς ἄλλους φιλοσόφους τοῦτο ποιεῖν οὐ παρά- δοξον, αὐτοὺς δέ εὑρήσομεν τοὺς τῆς γραμματικῆς κατ - ηγόρους, Πύρρωνά τε καὶ Κπίκουρον, ἐξομολογουμένους τὸ ἀναγκαῖον αὐτῆς ὧν ὁ μιὲν Πύρρων ἱστορεῖται τὴν Ὁμηρικὴν διὰ παντὸς ποίησιν ἀναγινώσκων, μὴ ἄν ποτε τοῦτο ποιήσας εἴπερ μὴ ἐγίνωσκεν αὐτὴν χρησίμην καὶ διὰ τοῦτο τὴν γραμματικὴν ἀναγκαίαν,
