ἔτι τὸ σημεῖον ἐκκαλυπτικόν ἐστι τοῦ [λήγοντος] σημειωτοῦ, δὲ σημειωτὸν ἐκκαλύπτεται πρὸς τοῦ σημείου. ταῦτα δὲ οὐ τῶν ἀπολύτων ἐστὶν ἀλλὰ τῶν πρός τι· πρὸς γὰρ τῷ ἐκκαλύπτοντι νοεῖται τὸ ἐκκαλυπτόμενον, καὶ πρὸς τῷ ἐκκαλυπτομένῳ νοεῖται τὸ ἐκκαλύπτον. εἰ δὲ ἀμφότερα πρός τι ὄνια κατὰ τὸν αὐτὸν πάρεστι χρόνον, ἀμφότερα συνυφέστηκεν ἀλλήλοις· εἰ δὲ συνυφέστηκεν, ἑκάτερον ἐξ αὐτοῦ καταληπτόν ἐστι καὶ οὐδέτερον ἐκ θατέρου.
