λεκτέον δὲ κἀκεῖνο, ὅτι, ὁποῖόν ποτ’ ἂν ᾖ τὸ σημεῖον, ἤτοι αὐτὸ φύσιν ἔχει πρὸς τὸ ἐνδείκνυσθαι καὶ μηνύειν τὸ ἄδηλον, ἢ ἡμεῖς ἐσμεν μνημονικοὶ τῶν συναναγυμνωθέντων αὐτῷ. οὐχὶ δὲ ἐκεῖνο φύσιν ἔχει ἐνδεικτικὴν τῶν ἀδήλων, ἐπεὶ ὤφειλε πᾶσιν ἐπ’ ἴσης ἐδείκνυσθαι τὰ ἄδηλα. ἡμεῖς ὧς ἂν ἔχωμεν μνήμης, οὕτω περὶ τῆς τῶν πραγμάτων ὑποστάσεως φερόμεθα.
