τἀνθρώπου τὸ καὶ σημεῖον ὑπάρχειν. συνωμολόγηταί τε ἡ ἀπόδειξις τῷ γένει σημεῖον εἷναι. δηλωτικὴ γάρ ἐστι τοῦ συμπεράσματος, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διὰ τῶν λημμάτων αὐτῆς συμπλοκὴ σημεῖον τοῦ ὑπάρχειν τὸ συμπέρασμα. οἶον ἐπὶ τῆς τοιαύτης “ εἰ ἔστι κίνησις, ἔστι κενόν· ἔστι δὲ κίνησις· ἔστιν ἄρα κενόν” τὸ τοιοῦτον συνημμένον “ εἰ ἔστι κίνησις, ἔστι κενόν”, διὰ τῶν λημμάτων συμπεπλεγμένον, εὐθὺς καὶ σημεῖόν ἐστι τοῦ συμπεράσματος τοῦ ‘‘ἐστι κενόν”.
