ἤτοι οὖν ἀποδεικτικοί εἰσι λόγοι, φασίν, οἱ κατὰ τοῦ σημείου κομισθέντες ὑπὸ τῶν ἀπορητικῶν ἢ οὐκ ἀποδεικτικοί. καὶ εἰ μὲν οὔκ εἰσιν ἀποδεικτικοί, ἄπιστοι καθεστᾶσιν, ὅπου γε καὶ ἀποδεικτικοὶ τυγχάνοντες μόλις ἂν ἐπιστεύθησαν· εἰ δὲ ἀποδεικτικοί, δῆλον ὅτι ἔστι τι σημεῖον· ἡ γὰρ ἀπόδειξις σημεῖον ἦν κατὰ τὸ γένος.
