ὅμως δ’ οὖν καὶ καθ’ ἕτερον τρόπον ἐνέσται τὸ τοιοῦτο κατασκευάζειν· εἴπερ καταληπτόν ἐστιν ὁ ἄνθρωπος, ἤτοι ὅλος δι’ ὅλου ἑαυτὸν ζητεῖ τε καὶ καταλαμβάνει, ἢ ὅλος ἐστὶ τὸ ζητούμενον καὶ ὑπὸ τὴν κατάληψιν πίπτον <. . . .> ὥσπερ εἰ καὶ τὴν ὅρασιν ὑπόθοιτό τις ἑαυτὴν ὁρῶσαν· ἤ γὰρ ὅλη ἔσται ὁρῶσα ἢ ὁρωμένη ἢ μέρει μὲν ἑαυτὴν ὁρῶσα, μέρει δὲ ὑφ᾿ ἑαυτῆς ὁρωμένη.
