ἐάν τε γὰρ ἀληθὲς ὑποκέηται τῶν ἐν αὐτῷ τὸ ‘‘ἔστι τι σημεῖον”, ἀναγκαῖον γίνεται πρὸς τὴν τούτου συναγωγὴν τὸ διαφορούμενον συνημμένον τὸ “ εἰ ἔστι τι σημεῖον, ἔστι σημεῖον”, παρέλκον δὲ τὸ λοιπὸν τὸ “ εἰ μὴ ἔστι τι σημεῖον, ἔστι τι σημεῖον”· ἐάν τε τὸ μὴ εἶναί τι σημεῖον ὑποκέηται τῶν ἐν αὐτῷ ἀληθές, τὸ μὲν διαφορούμενον παρέλκει πρὸς τὴν τούτου κατασκευήν, τὸ δὲ “ εἰ μὴ ἔστι τι σημεῖον, ἔστι σημεῖον” ἀναγκαῖον γίγνεται. μοχθηρὸς οὖν κατὰ παρολκὴν ὁ λόγος.
