λείπεται ἄρα λέγειν τὸ κατὰ μέν τι φαινόμενον κατὰ δέ τι ἄδηλον ἀληθές <. . . . . .>. εἰ γὰρ τὸ φαινόμενον, καθὸ φαινόμενόν ἐστι, τοῦτο ὑποτιθέμεθα ἀληθές, ἤτοι καθὸ πᾶν φαινόμενόν ἐστιν ἀληθὲς ὑποτιθέμεθα αὐτὸ ἀληθές, ἢ καθὸ οὐ πᾶν· καὶ εἰ τὸ ἄδηλον, καθὸ ἄδηλόν ἐστιν, ὑπόκειται ἀληθές, ἤτ’ οἱ καθὸ πᾶν ἄδηλον ἀληθές ἐστιν ὑπόκειται ἀληθές, ἢ καθὸ οὐ πᾶν. καὶ λοιπὸν τἀς αὐτὰς ἀπορίας ἐπισυνθήσομεν.
