ἐλθὼν δὲ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ ‘καὶ κῶς αὖθι γενησόμεθαʼ ἡσυχάσει, μὴ εὑρί- σκων τὸ δηλούμενον πρᾶγμα. φιλοσόφου γὰρ ἧν εἰπεῖν ὅτι ἀρέσκει τῷ Διοδώρῳ μηδὲν κινεῖσθαι. τὸ γὰρ κινού- μένον ἤτοι ἐν ὧ ἔστι τόπῳ κινεῖται ἢ ἐν ᾦ μὴ ἔστιν οὕτε δὲ τὸ πρῶτον οὐτε τὸ δεύτερον· οὐκ ἄρα κινεῖταί τι. τῷ δέ μηδὲν κινεῖσθαι τὸ μηδὲν φθείρεσθαι ἀκολου- θεῖ.
