μηδενὸς δὲ ψευδομένου οὐδ’ ἀληθεύων τις ἔσται, καὶ μηδενὸς πλανωμένου οὐδ’ ἀπλανὴς καταστήσεταί τις. ὡσαύτως δὲ μὴ ὄντος ἀτέχνου συναναιρεῖται καὶ ὁ τεχνίτης καὶ μὴ ὑπάρχοντος φαύλου ὁ σοφός· ταῦτα γὰρ κατὰ σύμβλησιν νοεῖται, καὶ ὃν τρόπον μὴ ὄντος δεξιοῦ τινος οὐδὲ ἀριστερὸν ἔστι μηδὲ ὄντος τοῦ κάτω οὐδὲ τὸ ἄνω ἔστιν, οὕτω μὴ ὄντος τοῦ ἑτέρου τῶν ἀντικειμένων οὐδὲ τὸ λοιπὸν ὑποστήσεται. οἰχήσεται δὲ καὶ ἡ ἀπόδειξις καὶ τὸ σημεῖον.
