τοίνυν οὐδὲ τὸ πιθανόν ἐστιν ἀληθές. ἐκτὸς εἰ μή τι τὸ πολλοὺς πεῖθον, τοῦτ’ ἐροῦμεν ἀληθές· τὸ γοῦν μέλι πολλούς μὲν πεῖθον ὑγιαίνοντας ὧς γλυκύ 5 καὶ ἕνα μὴ πεῖθον ἰκτερικόν, ἀληθῶς λέγομεν γλυκύ. ὅπερ ἦν ληρῶδες. ὅταν γὰρ περὶ ἀληθείας σκεπτώμεθα, τότε οὐκ εἰς τὸ πλῆθος τῶν συμφωνούντων δεῖ ἀποβλέπειν ἀλλ’ εἰς τἀς διαθέσεις. μιᾷ δὲ διαθέσει κέχρηται ὁ νοσῶν καὶ μιᾷ κατασκευῇ πάντες οἱ ὑγιαίνοντες.
