Αἱ μὲν καθόλου ἀπορίαι περὶ τοῦ ἀληθοῦς τοιαῦταί τινές εἰσιν· ἀκολούθως δὲ ἔλθωμεν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κατὰ μέρος. καὶ δὴ τούς μὲν πάντα λέγοντας ψευδῆ ἐδείξαμεν πρόσθεν περιτρεπομένους. εἰ γὰρ πάντ’ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ, ψεῦδος ἔσται καὶ τὸ “πάντ᾿ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ”, ἐκ πάντων ὑπάρχον. ψεύδους δὲ ὄντος τοῦ ‘‘πάντ’ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ”, τὸ ἀντικείμενον αὐτῷ ἀληθές ἔσται, τὸ “οὐ πάντ’ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ”. εἰ ἄρα πάντ’ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ, οὐ πάντ’ ἐστὶ ψευδῆ.
