εἴπερ οὖν ἡ ἐπιφάνεια πέρας ἐστὶ σώματος, τό γε σῶμα πάντως πεπερασμένον ἐστίν καὶ εἰ τοῦτο, ὅτε παρατίθε- ται δύο σώματα ἀλλήλοις, τότε ἤτοι τὰ πέρατα τῶν περά- των ἢ τὰ πεπερατωμένα τῶν πεπερατωμένων ἅψεται 〈ἢ καὶ τὰ πεπερατωμένα τῶν πεπερατωμένων καὶ τὰ πέρατα τῶν περάτων〉, οἷον ἐπὶ τοῦ ἀμφορέως, εἰ νοήσαιμεν πέ- ρας μὲν τὸ ἔξωθεν ὄστρακον πεπερατωμένον δὲ τὸν ἐν αὐτῷ οἶγον.
