ζητουμένων τε καὶ τῶν ἐν τῇ ἀποδείξει λεκτῶν εἰ ἔστιν, ἐὰν μὲν ἐξ ἑτοίμου λαμβάνωσι τὸ εἶναι ταῦτα, ἐξ ἑτοίμου καὶ οἱ ἀπορητικοὶ τὸ μὴ εἶναι λήψονται, τῆς αὐτῆς ἐπ’ ἀμφοτέρων ὑποπιπτούσης πίστεως ἢ ἀπιστίας, ἐὰν δὲ ἐξ ἀποδείξεως, εἰς ἄπειρον ἐκπεσοῦνται· ἀπόδειξιν γὰρ ἀπαιτηθήσονται τῶν ἐν τῇ δευτέρᾳ ἀποδείξει ἐμπεριεχομένων λεκτῶν, καὶ τρίτην κομίσαντες τῶν ἐν τῇ τρίτῃ, καὶ τετάρτην τῶν ἐν τῇ τετάρτῃ, ὥστε ἄναρχον αὐτοῖς εἶναι τὴν ἀπόδειξιν τοῦ εἶναι λεκτόν.
