εἰς ἐποχὴν δὴ καὶ ἀπορίαν ἐλθόντες οἱ δικασταὶ διὰ τὴν ἰσο- σθένειαν τῶν ῥητορικῶν λόγων ἀμφοτέρους ἐξέβαλον τοῦ δικαστηρίου, ἐπιφωνήσαντες τὸ ῾ἐκ κακοῦ κόρακος κακὸν ᾧόν.ʼ Οἴος δέ ἐστιν ὁ περὶ τοῦ δικανικοῦ μέρους λόγος, τοιοῦτος γένοιτʼ ἂν καὶ ὁ περὶ τοῦ συμβουλευτικοῦ, ἵναι μὴ μαρηγορῶμεν. τὸ μέν γὰρ ἐγκωμιαστικόν, σὺν τῷ ταῖς αὐταῖς ἀπορίαις ὑπάγεσθαι, ἔτι καὶ ἀμέθοδόν ἐστιν.
