ὅθεν καὶ τοιοῦτον συνερωτῶσι λόγον· ‘εἰ ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις, ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις· εἰ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις, ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις· ἤτοι δὲ ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις ἢ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις· ἔστιν ἄρα ἀπόδειξις' ἀπὸ δὲ τῆς αὐτῆς δυνάμεως καὶ τοῦτον ἐρωτῶσι τὸν λό’ γον· ‘τὸ τοῖς ἀντικειμένοις ἑπόμενον οὐ μόνον ἀληθές ἐστιν, ἀλλὰ καὶ ἀναγκαῖον· ἀντίκειται δὲ ταῦτα ἀλλήλοις “ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις — οὐκ ἔστιν ἀπόδειξις'', ὧν ἑκατέρῳ ἀκολουθεῖ τὸ εἶναι ἀπόδειξιν· ἔστιν ἄρα ἀπόδειξις’.
