εἰ δὲ μήτε ὅλου μετέσχηκεν ἕκαστον εἶδος τοῦ γένους μήτε μέρους αὐτοῦ, πῶς ἂν λέγοιτο ‘ὲν εἶναι γένος ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς εἴδεσιν αὐτοῦ, ὥστε καὶ εἰς αὐτὰ διαιρεῖσθαι; τάχα οὐκ ἂν ἔχοι τις λέγειν μὴ οὐχὶ ἀναπλάσσων τινὰς εἰδωλοποιήσεις, ἇί ταῖς ἐκείνων αὐτῶν ἀνεπικρίτοις διαφωνίαις κατὰ τὰς σκεπτικὰς ἐφόδους περιτραπήσονται.
