ὅθεν οὐδὲ τέλος τοῦ παρῳχημένου καὶ ἀρχὴ τοῦ μέλλοντος εἷναι δύναται ὁ ἐνεστώς, ἐπεὶ καὶ ἔσται καὶ οὐκ ἔσται. ἔσται μὲν οὖν] ὡς ἐνεστώς, οὐκ ἔσται δὲ ἐπεὶ μὴ ἔστιν αὐτοῦ τὰ μέρη. οὐκοῦν οὐδὲ μεριστός ἐστιν. εἰ δὲ μήτε ἀμέριστός ἐστιν ὁ ἐνεστὼς μήτε μεριστός, οὐδὲ ἔστιν. μὴ ὄντος δὲ τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος μηδὲ τοῦ παρῳχημένου μηδὲ τοῦ μέλλοντος, οὐδέ ἐστί τι χρόνος· τὸ γὰρ ἐξ ἀνυπάρκτων συνεστὼς ἀνύπαρκτόν ἐστιν.
