οὔτε δὲ τὸ ἴσον ἐν τῷ ἴσῳ περιέχεται, οἶον τά ‘ἐν τοῖς ἕξ· μεῖζον γὰρ εἶναι δεῖ τὸ περιέχον τοῦ περιεχομένου καὶ τὸ ἀφ’ οὗ ἀφαιρεῖταί τι τοῦ ἀφαιρουμένου, ἴνα μετὰ τὴν ἀφαίρεσιν ὑπολείπηταί τι· τούτῳ γὰρ διαφέρειν δοκεῖ τῆς παντελοῦς ἄρσεως ἡ ἀφαίρεσις· οὔτε τὸ μεῖζον ἐν τῷ μικροτέρῳ, οἷον τὰ ἓξ <ἐν> τοῖς πέντε· ἀπεμφαίνει γάρ.
