Ἦν δ ̓ οὗτος ἀνὴρ πρὸς ἀφροδίσια πάνυ καταφερής· ὅστις καὶ τῇ τοῦ οἱοῦ γυναικὶ συνῆν, ὡς Στησίμβροτος ὁ Θάσιος ἱστορεῖ, κατὰ τοὺς αὐτοὺς αὐτῷ χρόνους γενόμενος καὶ ἑωρακὼς αὐτὸν, ἐν τῷ ἐπιγραφομένῳ Περὶ Θεμιστοκλέους καὶ Θουκυδίδου καὶ Περικλέους.
