Ὅτι ἡ Ἰταλία ἀσφαλῶς ᾤκηται, νήσου δίκην περίκλυστος οὖσα· καὶ πάλιν αἱ Ἄλπεις κρημνώδεις εἰσὶ καὶ τείχεσι πεφραγμέναι. Ὅτι Στράβων ὁ γεωγράφος ἤκμαζεν ἐπὶ τῶν χρόνων Τιβερίου Καίσαρος καὶ τῶν παίδων αὐτοῦ, Δρούσου καὶ Γερμανικοῦ.
